I got home from work everything fine, get back in Jeep the next day and the fan for heater isnt working. I hit the AC button and it lights up but still no fan. I can feel heat coming out of the vent once I start moving but its not nearly nuff to get ya warm. Its been like 17-30 for the most part here in VA the past week and any ideas are welcomed. Thanks in advance!!! cheers =P

I had the exact same problem today. I took it to the dealer and he diagnosed it as a "melted connector on the blower motor" He wanted me to buy a new motor and connector assembly to the tune of $506. So, I too would like to know where the blower motor is. |

Guys, on my 95 Orvis, the Blower and Resistor is under the passenger side dash. Both are within reach without too much dismantling but you will end up with a kink in yuor neck working on it. I just replied to a different post "Blower Motor" which has some additional detail regarding the resistor.
Good luck. |

The fan is so easy to replace it is not even funny.
3 screws and a plug. All right there – easy to get to. Just above the passengers feet. This is a junk yard part. I would not consider buying a new one. The screws are offset so you cannot put it in wrong. I did not look in my manual but the there are two relays in the fuse compartment by the passengers right foot and three under the hood in the electrical junction box. |
