HTML and XML are best to start off with, as they're the easiest and most basic. From there probably Javascript and then into CGI. CGI would be the most powerful of the batch, but also the most in-depth. I have a book at home that's excellent. Mainly HTMl/XML but it also touches on Java(scipt), and goes into the theory of CGI which is very helpful for when you actually want to get in-depth with it. Like I said I don't have it here at school, but I'll have my mom find out what it's called exactly and who it's by, and let you know.
