egh22a vs me egb16

i know im gonna get bs flags up but oh well. the h22 had intake header exhaust and skunk 2 cams . i have a jdm b16 cai exhaust msd jdm itr header itr tb and intake mani. chipped ecu.

ok we line um up. the flag them wierd instead of dropping your hands and we go they drop one twice than on the third you go. well i we line up they go one two three i drop it perfect with a perfect reason i launch at 5500 catch traction hit vtec at 6000 rpm and pull a car on him on the launch and into second i catch traction with a lil sqeek and pull a half a car and another half into third we stay like that and when we shit into 4 he pull within a car but the race is already over but i had started to pull more it was a good race. but i leaves me woundering can he just not drive i know one thing he had a sucky reaction off the launch cause we did it again and it was the same thing. he had time slips that show a 13.6 on street slicks. i wounder what i would run at the track?
let the bs flags fly lol

Re: egh22a vs me egb16

why does vtec engage so late? how do you not spin launching at 5,500 rpms? i would spin my ass off launching at that rpm with a stock d16...sounds alittle fishy to me

It's all about how you modulate your clutch also. Launching and dumping at 5500rpms are two different things. Mind you, I don't know which one he did...

i dont just dump the clutch if i were to do that id spin a grip the pics are sent of both my hatches to carrnut and hopefully theyll be posted up soon btw my eg is not stock and i was wrong he didnt have cams it was just i/h/e.
i have a jdm b16 cai jdm itr header straight pipe type r intake manifold tb. and cams skunk 2 cam gears both at -1 i think chipped ecu but i wanna get a different one cause vtec engages real late at 6200.

his launch wasnt bad i just jumped on him my launch was perfect in my opinion my best lauch ive gotten in my opinion and he just couldnt catch up so believe it or not. btw way i let my freind borrow my car so he can go to the dentist and he said he lost to a hatch with the same mods and motor bya car in my ek.
