Eibach Springs and stock sturts? Possible?
I have a 96 Vtech prelude... and have some 17's. Wanna void that wheel well gap with the help of Eibach lowering springs... All i need to know is the install is easy and can they go on stock sturts? Any posts would help a lot!

Re: Eibach Springs and stock sturts? Possible?
The install is not exactly easy because a spring compressor & alignment is involved. Other then that it's pretty easy . . .Yes you can use Eibach springs on stock struts, but it's not a good idea. In order to "lower" a car the springs rates must be increased, too high for the stock strut to control. Resulting in a poor ride with strut failure in the near future & then it has to be taken all apart again to replace the struts.
Suspension is not something to skimp on. Welcome to AF, check out the search feature! |
