kind of funny...
today I am driving along in my dads truck after leaving lowes with 30 2x4 full length studs in the bed. What do I see? Mr hotshot "I have an ugly body kit on my stock 99-00 Si" running through the traffic like a mad man. i couldn't resist but to follow him. we got to the edge of town and hit the open 2 lane road even though there were still a few cars here and there. i knew he nailed it because a slight puff of smoke came out of his exhaust, I nailed the truck and he couldn't pull away from me. lol he tried time and time again when he would have to slow down and wait his turn to pass slower traffic. so he would be behind someone going maybe 60 then he would pull out and floor it and i would do the same, it proy pissed him off to see a full size late 90's gmc running right along with his hotstuff civic. so eventually the road comes to a major 4 way stop and he took off from the stop sign pedal to the floor and here I came storming after him. gotta love the torque of a v8 engine huh? the only thing that sucks about the truck is the 100 mph speed limiter that it has and the civic doesnt have
don't everyone all get pissed off at once, remember I too drive a civic. i just thought it was funny that a b16 si couldn't pull on a fullsize gmc truck with a bunch of wood in the back. and yes, the truck has a few mods but not too much really. short ram intake w/ K&N, throttle body spacer, and flowmaster muffler. i guess instead of wasting his money on an ugly body kit this guy should have put some performance mods on the car. it didn't even sound like it had aftermarket exhaust on it, BUT it did have a 3rd, (and 4th even) brake light. lol, gotta love when the foot tall spoiler has its own brake light and you leave the stock one in the back window connected but yeah, just thought the truck full of lumber running right with a civic si was a little funny. i am sure he would have taken down my pathetic little sohc ex, but that won't last too long
