exhaust and rev limiters for a crx

I need some help on a 91' crx if i put a custom universal N1 muffler on a crx will it sound good it will have the stock catalytic converter i dont want it to be loud i want a deep sounding like the Greedy EVO sound what should i do to have that nice sound i dont want to buy a cat-back exhaust system i want the uni N1 muffler.

And about the rev limiters is ther a rev limiter on a stock crx im not shure if thar is well i wanted to buy one so if i miss a shift i wont over rev what kind of rev limiters can i buy i no the MSD is good but i want an easy installation rev limiter and i would like to adjust the rev limiter? thanks

The Apexi N1 muffler is quite loud since it is straight through and offers not a lot of muffling. SO i would get some sort of resonator to calm down the bees in a can sound you are likely to get with just a muffler.

The stock crx has a rev limiter. It cuts off the fuel at a certain rpm depending on the model crx you have.

Re: exhaust and rev limiters for a crx

A Si has a 7250rpm rev limiter. Other models are different.

It is safe to rev to 8000rpm or so on the stock motor, but you owuld need a new chip to do that. A aftermarket rev limiter can not raise the limit.
