Funny thing happened to me today...

I was driving my Lancer (yes, the one that got nailed by the deer) when i get pulled over by a cop. I've left the engine running- the cop walks up, and my engine starts to steam, which is nothing new to me- it's been doing it for a month now. (my radiator cap is loose which allows water/antifreeze to steam out of the radiator)

anyway, the cop notices the heavy steaming coming from my turbo vent and asks "why I'm not the slightest bit worried"

My reply- word for word-


"because, Officer- it assures me that there's still liquid in my radiator to boil"

officer was impressed with my wit. actually, I got pulled over for having a license plate light out, so this was just a verbal warning type deal.

License plate light- Verbal warning

Didn't use turn signal when passing a van going 35 miles an hour on the highway- written warning.

Had Drivers license in glovebox (Instead of on person) verbal warning

had Cigerettes in my car (with underage freinds) written warning. (cop thought cigerettes were my friends, and I was claiming them to protect my freinds)

License plate light out- written warning

Taking 40 degree turn to fast (45 mph, clear weather) verbal warning.
