A/C bulb out, how to replace?
Hi, I belive I have a burnt bulb on the A/C instrument panel. I have no lights for the fan, temperature, or direction. They all went out at the same time. Is there one bulb that runs all 3? Could it be a blown fuse instead? I read in a previous post that it's most likely the bulb, and to replace it. How do I get at it? Do I need to remove one of the dials? If so, which dial do I remove, and how do I do it?
Thanks for the help. Jefff 2000 Jetta GLS |

It's pretty easy. It's one bulb behind the middle dial. With a pair of pliers, pull out the middle dial. Pull the bulb out with a pair of needle nose pliers (careful not the break it...cuz I did). Replace that bulb and you are good to go.

Re: A/C bulb out, how to replace?
Hi. I have the same problem. Would this solution also apply to a 1995 Jetta? Thanks.
