5th gens ~ want some fiberglass kickpods?

Hey you 5th gen owners... looking for a way to enhance your audio system without spending a fortune on speakers and custom made kick pods from your local shop? Dont want to spend $300+ at your local shop to get quality, or spend $200+ on "Q-Logic" kick pods? (which might I remind you are plastic and really are garbage)...

Well as you know up north (Syracuse, NY) its snows in the winter time. And since I wont have much to do, I thought I would occupy my time and also get you guys a great deal! I am looking to make some kick pods out of FIBERGLASS! Whats the cost you say? About HALF or even less then half of what you local shop would charge... I am looking to sell them for $150 PER PAIR!

Options would be like... 5.25" or 6.5" speaker w/ 0.75" or 1" (surface, flush or swivel mounted) tweeter. Just let me know what you need and they will be custom made for YOUR application. I could also go wild for those of you willing to part with more bills and also design to put your BASS or MIDBASS 8" woofers up front in the same pods with your speakers as well! You name it, I am willing to produce it for you... so long as I wont have to physically DESTROY anything to make something for you then I would be more then happy to!

The additional 8" woofer pods (more then likely they will all be fit into one pod) will probably run an extra $120-$150... not bad seeing as a shop will probably take you for $700+ for both, which will add upto $270-$300... and its FIBERGLASS and not cheap plastic! Would you guys be interested in something like that? Can be totally unique and include the Street Glow flexible neon electrouminescent wire around the speakers ~ looking at an additional $75 ($24.95 x 2 + $25 labor per pair) and it would be flush mounted onto the kick pod and would give a very unique glow! Or got any other ideas? Remember these are your kick pods ~ the ideas are unlimited! I would like to get 4-5 people willing to buy a set so that I can purchase all the stuff and get going a week or two after I return from Florida (on the 6th) So what do you say... anyone want something like this?

That is an awesome idea Nick. I can't believe you can do them for so cheap...I always thought those Q-Forms were overpriced anyway.

Trust me being fiberglass I could charge $300+ like the shops do, but thats not my business... and besides, if I can get more people to buy at the lower price, it will do what I want it to do ~ and thats keep me busy till spring!
