b16 swap
im gonna get a del sol next year, and i was wondering, about how much will it cost to swap in a b16a2 engine, because i really wanted the dohc del sol, but cant seem to find one anywhere, would it be a good idea to do this, and are the dohc's alot faster, or just a little more faster, thanks.

This all depends on what you are looking for, for exaple are you looking for a daily driver with a little kick or are you looking to build a serious competitor?

After you answer this question you should keep in mind that the D16 SOHC v-tec would get up between 170-190 hp with some forced induction. However a B-series combination has a much higher potential but it really depends on how much your willing to spend.

a b16a is going to cost you between 1900 and 2600 plus shipping and then if you do the swap or have someone else do it...but if you go to www.darksol.com on there classified section theres 1 or 2 DOHC sols for sale right now and if you go to http://www.cmwebsites.com/delsol/?cf...3zk3ARJxFh4A== thats another DOHC sol for sale there out there just depends on how much you wanna spend.
