4th Gen- Keyless Entry Unlocking lights blink?

Do the lights blink only when the car locks? Or can it be programmed to blink when you both lock and unlock the car? I'd like to hear how some of the other 4th generations are. I never know if the thing is unlocking or not since the lights don't blink for unlocking. Any info would be appreciated. THX!

nah, they don't blink when unlocking. . . your dome light should turn on when you unlock the car. . .that's a way to tell if it's unlocking. . .
i don't know if you can rewire it so it blinks or not . . i know that you can make it beep when locking so I would think that it's possible to make it blink when unlocking. .

Thanks Maxed out...Unfortunately the dome light only helps at night when I can see it. I wish there were another indicator. I will call a few Nissan dealers to see what they say.

The lights blink on my '03 when I both lock AND unlock the car. Just when I lock the car the horn beeps with the lights, whereas it's just the lights that blink when I unlock. However, you can program the remote so that the horn doesn't sound when locking, which I need to do cause that Sh!t's irritating!

Well, its the truth, Isn't it? Thats one way to tell if your doors are unlocked.
