|
ABS, BRAKE, AIR BAG light stay on
1998 Pontiac Sunfire 59,200 Miles. All three of these lights stay on Abs,Brake, Air bag. do I need to take it to Autozone Autoparts to get the codes checked out or has anybody come across this problem yet.

my 94 sunbird did that same thing. the lights would stay on, the cpu just went wacky, the abs was all screwed, id hit the brakes and the left rear would lock. it jsut lost its mind lol. i took it into a heated garage, and let it thaw for a day. cleaned her up. and shes ok now. keep in mind i live in sask. the land of -60 weather in teh winter, and +40 in the summer.

Try disconnecting the battery and then reconnnecting it to let the ECU reset.
