interior lights, 1st post, please help!!

1997 LeSabre. When lights come on at dusk, interior lights also come on. Interior lights stay on until sentenial goes off. Otherwise interior lights work normally in every way. They do not come on when headlights are turned on manually. Any ideas?

I would check grounds here. Also, is it possible for the interior lights to respond by using driver inputs? If these lights respond as other lights do, it is also possible for a shorted connector or wire to cause the same thing. Ray
