Does someone know if there was a "How-to make a diaorama" written on this forum? If not, is there anyone who could share his knowledge with us by writing one?
I wan't to make a winter diorama with mud on a WRC car. I messed up the decal job and I want to hide it! I want to know which materials to use how to use them to create a realistic effect... I'm aware that snow may be replicated by using cow brand (sodium bicarbonate)

Join this group, some of the best diorama builders are ther and should be able to give you some good tips.
One thing I can say right now is donīt use sodium bicarbonate, it can damage the plastic and BMF. And you can end up with unwanted guest in the diorama. You can use Microbaloons as snow. I would use a wood base and some plaster to make the basic shape of the road and landscape. Other then that look at pics and try to get the model to look like itīs moving. |

bondo works great for getting the basic shape of the landscape laid out .. then before it dries sprinkle it with actual dirt or sand and press it into the surface ...
i am a member of that group as well
