[Elrod on the V-Rod]

I recently sent a set of stock mufflers to Motor cycle city to have their modification.It took a little over a week and the anticipation was eating me up.I installed them last week and remapped the controller Man my rod is a new bike again.The V-Rod has it's own sound,but these babys make it sound like a smooth Evo engine.The math says I opened up 7 hp.Handling improved from the weght loss and I can do a smoker at 40 mph.I found a dealer that the service manager likes V-Rods,He's also the wrench on the Rods and the dyno tech.I ordered a 200 metz.and will be having it installed maybe next Sat.I'm going to have it dynoed and tweeked.Leaving the top cover off of the air filter(running toppless) is supposed to open up another 4 hp.My math says rwhp@8200Rs should be right at 121.The paper with the funny looking lines will be the tell tail.If I'm not happy with the#s maybe a bore-up kit for my B day.Please remind my wife!

Sweetness! I'm hoping that with the jet-kit, full 4-1 exhaust, and "topless" airbox with UNI (K&N wannabe) filter will give me a few ponies on my Seca... yes, we are talking about a Seca II here, but it HAS to be better than before, right?

You'll have to post up your papers when it's all said and done. I'd love to see those digits.
