Help!!!!

My playstation reads my disc slowly,and lately it hasn't been reading the disc at all. It DOESN'T say DISC READ ERROR.It just doesn't read the disk.Has this ever happened to you.Does anyone know how to fix this .Thanks for the help.

yeah, it happened to me. i called the sony hotline thing and then sent them my ps2. i got it back like 2 weeks later and it was all fixed. cost me only 20 bucks but the shipping and handling was mad crazy.

lol, 20 bux, i found a tutorial on the net, its something like on the part that connects to the disc, you need to clock it back, i'll try to find it, it happened to me when i tried to play vice city, and then i saw the thing on tv, forgot to record it, then found it on the net again, it was *cute*

here it is, and it doesn't really matter if it says disc read error, i had the same exact problemwith mine, and it didn't say disc error, but after this it still werked.

here's what i did when that happened to me, i bought a new PS2, opened the box up carfully not to tear or rip the package, switched the serial labels off the two different ps2's. put my old one back in the box, and returned it.
