electrical power lost momentarily

Dropped my kids at school and went i got back in the car, it was simply dead, no power of any kind. got of the car and triyed to open the tail gate... nothing. While i was thinking how to get to my job, i heard a sort of click and electrical power was restored ! clock at zero and radio presets lost.
Before I stoped head lights where on, air cond too, and i closed tail gate electrically.
I seach the owner's manual for some kind of battery protection relay or so, but didn't find anything.
Does anyone knows something about this?

OK... it happened again and when I open the hud... simple... neg. wire was a little loose, just enough to disconnect the batt power.
Naif of mine not to check it in first place, but it never crossed my mind it could happen on a new car !
It's not technologie just poor mounting.
