questionSS about modding my gsr
i have a stock 2001 gsr. my first mod is going to be a t3/t04 turbonetics kit. is this a good idea to put a turbo as my first mod. well im planning on getting turbo then an exhaust shortly after. is the turbonetics good for my gsr? how much psi can i boost with just the turbo. with exhaust and 2.5 pipings? and what do u think 1/4 mile would be. i kno its alot of questions. thankyou

really...a turbo set-up is NOT something to be taken lightly. i'd suggest that u goto a local shop and have them assist u w/ ur ideas. its VERY easy to blow a motor because of poor tuning/install, but it can be very easy to keep a motor healthy as well.
make sure that u truly know how ur turbo set-up will work and wut it will be doing, or else ur going to be in for a lot of hassles. normally, stock internals considered, a gsr will handle 6-7 psi, putting down about 205-210 to the wheels. this would be good for low 13 second passes (if u can drive and get the power down.)
