Advans

Where the bloody hell can I find Advans? Im getting them regardless of the price. But speaking of price, how much am I gonna be lookin' at with 17" Advans? I know there veryvery 'spensive, but if they are durable enough to fly over rocks and whatnot at 100mph, they are durable enough for me!

Re: Advans

And while I already have a thread open, will I need to mod in any way a DRFT S13 body kit to fit on the 240?

Re: Advans

im not sure about the DRFT kit, but if you have an s13 240 89-94, i think, then it will bolt right on if its made for the s13. Not exactaly sure on the years. All i know is my 91 is an s13.

body kit should bolt right on. while we got different engines, the mounting point for bumpers are identical AFAIK. if you're asking whether an S13 kit will fit your fast-back, then yes to everything except the rear valence...but AFAIK, the DRFT kit doesn't have a rear valence...

DRFT is the front bumper i eventually want too...

and for Advans, try J-Spec, possibly RareTrick (can't remember if they carry them or not), or hell even try eBay. some nice sets pop up every once in a while.

what model were you looking at buying?

Well, as far as what model Advans, I dont know, just some gold 5 or 6 spokes. Or I was also looking at the Volk Model 6, I think thats what they were.

Re: Advans

And, would it screw anything up, or will they allow me, to buy the polyurethane front bumper and fiberglass sideskirts? or would poly be advised at all?

Model 6 = Advan, not Volk

Urethane is more expensive and desirable then fibreglass.

The advans I want for my S14 are the TC II's and they will run approx. 2600 for all 4 without tires. and yes you can aquire advans from rare trick. You might have to wait a while because they will probably be coming from Japan rather than being in stock. I ordered a nismo shift knob from there and it took about 3 weeks just to get in the states.

I got my Advan Siena II's off Ebay from Gruppe-s. The Price was more than $1k cheaper than some places. Check out their website, I have not found another place with cheaper prices.
