Exclamation [TOP SECRET] Nexagen F1 Blue Print (Ultimate GS Build)

Ok guys I am the owner of a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Black. I fell in love with the car the moment I first took it for a test drive the day I bought it. Now I plan on building the meanest setup on a 4 Cyl Sportronic.

Here is my current Setup
------------------------

eXtras:

Cobra 9870 11 Band Radar
Alpine CDA-7995 XM-Radio Stereo System
Xenon Krypton H.I.D. 6000K Light Bulbs (Both headlights and foglights)
10 Mode Underbody Blue Neons
Aluminum Fuel Door
Chrome Gauge Bezel
Indiglow Blue/Green glowing Spedometer face w/ switch
Eagle Wax Car Wax (Lasts up to 5 years - Water Wash Only)
Sunroof Wind Deflector
Mitsu Mudflaps
Chrome Engraved "M I T S U B I S H I" license plate frame (Front & Back)
Xplode Subwoofer + Box
Code Alarm System
Stant Gas Cap (Locks your gas cap with a key)

Engine:
All Stock

And here is what I plan to add (In the future that is):
------------------------------

Engine & Engine Bay:

AEM Cold Air Intake (The Most Expensive One - Best One)
Dynomax Full Cat-Back Exhaust (10X More powerful than Flowmaster)
High Flow Fuel Injectors
Performance Sparkplugs
Performance Sparkplug Wires
Polished Dynomax Headers
Stage 2 Turbo Kit
Engine Bay Dress Up
Diehard Battery (As the name states, they Diehard and with good reason)
Clean Engine Bay (At a special car wash shop I know)
Royal Purple Synthethic Racing Oil (Proven 5-7 HP Gain on LS1 Camaro)
Taylor Vertex Performance Ignition Wires
Taylor Vertex Battery Wires
Aluminum Radiator
Weekly Dose of Octane Gas Booster (8 Oz Bottler)

Tires/Suspension/Handling:

Eibach Strut Bar (No one does bars better than Eibach)
Eibach Sway Bar
Eibach Control Bar
Falken Azenis ST-115 18" (Wide Size)
O-Z Supperleggera III 18" (Ultra Light Race Wheels)
Koni High Performance Shocks
Brembo 4 Piston Brake Calipers
100% Carbon Fiber GT Rear Wing Spoiler

Additional Add-Ons:
Sparco Super-Light Race Seats
Replace Rear Seating Surfaces with Dealer's Leather Seats
Sniper Wide Body Kit
Carbon Fiber Hood
Chrome Dash Interior Trim
GPS Navigation System
Hood Pins
Neon Glow Pedals (Blue)
Custom License Plate

Upon completion I plan to give this car a name, my name but with a little touch: "Nexagen F1"

Let's do a little comparison on how I think this will go
Stock:
Horsepower 145 HP
0-60 7 sec

Nexagen F1:
350 HP
0-60 4.8 sec

Anyway this is just a rough estimate but considering as to how I have researched on what is the best sh*t to add, I think achieving a HP rating of 350 is possible using the setup I plan to use. If you take the time to research all the brand names I have written here you will know that it is the best among all brands for that particular product.

Anyway after I am done with this car there should be a 200+ HP gain. I expect that I should be able to kill most integras, preludes, cobras, or corvettes with this setup. That is considering that these guys have stock systems of course :-)

I however would like to hear any sugestion that I have not added yet that you may know on how to give the car even more HP by some other means not listed here. My goal is to make the ultimate 3G Eclipse GS in the world bar none.

Oh and I forgot to add this:

Sound System Add-On
----------------------
Alpine Tweeter Speakers
Alpine 5 Channel Amplifier

And once again if there's is better stuff out there I could use the help in building this.

I'd personally go with Directed Audio if you actually like to listen to musice and also DEI's alarms if you want to protect it.

No one makes a good turbocharger kit for the 3g eclipse, let alone a stage 2 turbo. Also, your car does not go 0 to 60 in 7 seconds, escpecially with the added weight you have on it now. Your car is said to have 147 horsepower at the flywheel, which turns out to be around 110 wheel hp tops. I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but you really should check out the options you have available to you before you get too into it. I have a friend who made himself believe he had attained 200 horsepower out of his '97 Grand Am GT 4 cylinder naturally Aspirated. His only mods were Green Neons, K & N Air Filter, 4 inch duel mufflers. He was so sure he had 200 horsepower till i smoked him in my spyder, which has just about the same engine your car has.

That is a nice list of mods, too bad most of them do not exist. And I think that before you do anything to your car, LEARN ABOUT CARS!!!!!

I'll be the asshole.

You proved to me that you really know nothing, you just threw a bunch of parts that sound good, together. Let me begin debunking you.

AEM CAI, nice but not the best IMO. Best is Injen. I gained 11 whp with that alone, and they claim 9 whp.

Dynomax headerS- the 4 cylinder eclipse has one header. And for the cat-back, I am pretty sure that dynomax does not have a cat-back system for the 3G.

Stage 2 turbo kit. Since most turbo kits replace both intake and header, why get the above 2? And there is a quality turbo kit made by Accelerated Autosports. At 8.5 psi, the car lays down a 264whp dyno. Your car lays down only 103 whp stock. And if you want to obtain a 350 whp dyno, do not get the turbo kit. Get the RippMods SDS. It will give you a 322.5whp dyno at ~13 psi.

Eibach does not make a strut tower bar, sway bar, or control arms for the 3G. The only rear strut tower bar is made by RRE, Road Race Engineering (and if you do not know who they are, get another car). The rear sway bar is made by Suspension Techniques. Factory control arms are more than adequate for your car.

Your taylor vertex ignition wires and high performance spark plug wires are the same DAMN thing. Your peformance spark plugs will not perform so well with your turbo kit. Get 1 range colder plugs. You don't know what that means...go find out.

Also, you are dropping so much money, why get Koni shocks. they are only 4 way adjustable and are really only inserts, not the real deal. You want the best, get JIC Magics, FLT-ALT2. 18 way adjustable. Best money can buy right now.

Re: [TOP SECRET] Nexagen F1 Blue Print (Ultimate GS Build)

Also, the stock sportronic will not be able to handle that kind of power. You would need to send your tranny to Level 10 to get it upgraded.

Hmm, ok I will take your suggestions. Thanks.

And the reason I thought Koni's were so good is because I saw them in a BMW 735i in the movie "The Transporter" and I thought they were really good on that car. As for the rest I know Brembo and Falkens are good.

Level 10? Where can I get it upgraded at level 10? Would I need to reprogram ECU?

I had to register, just so I could reply about your TOP SECRET Nexagen F1 Supercar. Reprogram your ECU, yup it's simple. All you have to do is remove your ECU, you know how to do that right? Then, attach a battery charger directly to it. This will surely reprogam your ECU, as well as get you closer to your 350 horsepower.

Oh yes, the most expensive is always the best. I would suggest getting your AEM Intake gold or platinum plated. This will reduce intake temps by at least 100 degress, and add some more bling blingity to your ride. Oh yeah, so you are adding a Stage 2 turbo kit & buying a cold air intake. Hmm, oh yeah, those two go together hand and hand. I'm sure it will just bolt right up. Along with those headers. Hell, just weld that turbo onto those Dynomax headers, it'll do the same thing, right?

Holy shit! 10x more powerful! I should have gotten that then. Lets see, the Flowmaster probably adds around 10hp, and 10lb-ft of torque. So 10x, 100hp and 100hp from just an exhaust system. Hell, you don't even need FI, just bolt on 3 Dynomax systems, and you'll be pretty close to your 350hp.

Wide size? I didn't know they made tires avaliable in that size. But, since you are gonna be putting down some mad serious horsepower, might as well upgrade those tires to Ultra-super-duper-wide size. That'll give you the grip you need to put in that 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds, and put you through the 1/4 at about 9.23596123 seconds.

" Surpasing it's own generation and into the NEX "

You have certainly done your research. . . .Once you get your F1 to your desired level of performance, looks, and handling, post up some pictures, timeslips, and of course dyno sheets. Good luck with your car, and taking it into the NEX generation.

Re: [TOP SECRET] Nexagen F1 Blue Print (Ultimate GS Build)

Nexagen i think you should not even pop the hood of your car. Dont touch anything. Justdrive the car and park it like all the others who know nothing about the car. Do not waste your time trying to put a turbo on a a NA 3g and its not even manual.

To modify a car you should do one piece at a time and make sure everything is working properly unless you have experance withall the components youare installing. The next bit is the fact that you could not afford this kind of build to your car. So y dont you just add a nice pine air freshiner.

Re: [TOP SECRET] Nexagen F1 Blue Print (Ultimate GS Build)

I am another that had to register to because of the idiocy.

First, Nexagen, learn what you are talking about before you open your mouth, it will keep you from looking stupid.

And Zero, you might want to do the same. AAI makes a great kit for the 3G that in most cases would be considered a stage 2 because of the FMIC and the T3/4e, at least that is what greddy and rev-hard consider stage 2 kits.

Just for reference, www.modernmustangs-memphis.org/turbors.htm.
