Driver's Side Grab Handle

Grab Handle Install

1. Get the parts, these are for a 2000, may be the same for later models.
- Bracket PN# 68853-7Z000, $3.75
- Grab Handle PN# 73940-7Z010, $7.80
- Two bolts, the same size as the ones on the handle on the pillar.

2. Remove Parts
- Moulding/rubber seal around the door.
- visor
- pillar trim
- trim around the seat belt. There is a plastic cover over the bolt that is a bit tricky to get off. Slide a screwdriver in between the plastic and pillar and push in the tabs.

3. Remove foam from roof

4. Install bracket
Install the bracket between the body and roof lining. There is not much room to get the bolts in there, even after removing all the other stuff. The bolts from the pillar handle don't have any thread at the ends so I used these as they were easier to start than the ones from the hardware store.

5. Cut holes in roof lining.

6. Screw in new handle. Screws supplied.
