Timing sprocket removal problem on 89 shelby daytona... any advice??

Hi, I have a 89 dodge daytona shelby 2.2 turbo, I have removed the motor from the car and stripped it all down, now my biggest problem is getting the timing sprocket off the crankshaft, my manual shows to use a harmonic balancer puller, but the one that I have I can get only one bolt in and cant match any others up to the puller or if I do get at least two bolts to match up the center of the puller is off from the hole of the sprocket, do they make a puller that will pull this off, if so where to get one? the sprocket is a 5 bolt pattern (pic below of the part) Also I think I messed the snow guard up that is behind the sprocket, which I believe this holds the front seal as well. any idea on where to get one of these? Any help would be appreciated

otc makes a tool just for that, any good part store should have it, i got mine from my mac tools dealer, the tin shield behind it is a timing belt guide (don't wreck that, cuz the t-belt doesn't last long without it)

Re: Timing sprocket removal problem on 89 shelby daytona... any advice??

I know it's been a while since you posted this message, but I'm having exactly the same problem with a '90 Shadow 2.5 engine. Crankshaft sprocket won't come off, 5 bolt pattern, seal retainer blocking jawed pullers and I have destroyed my Harmonic puller bolts. I know the body of the sprocket has an internal shoulder that the shaft rests against but heat and force won't make it budge.
What did you do????????
