I am doing it as a street prepaird scca car..

The items on the passenger side are-

Relocated battery to back..
Custom roll cage..

Here are some pics of the body..

Just need to finish polishing it..

Big thanx to Phatmitsu for finding me the kit at a great price!!!

Re: Re: Another Civic Progress Thread

looks good. but if you've seen shorty's thread on his 180sx, you'd know, you're kinda wasting your time with the cage like that. it's rear support bars should be closer to the rear strut towers. it looks good, and simple. nice color for the car, any possibility of a intercooler in the factory mouth?

Re: Another Civic Progress Thread

Hmm I don't think any part of it was a waist of my time. I ty not to copy other peoples work!! If I did what everyone else did all our cars would look the same and this forum would be quite boring .. No there there won't be a intercooler in this one but I am going to do the ther version of this kit with a full motor swap, under hood detail with a full turbo kit..

Thanks for the comments..

Re: Re: Another Civic Progress Thread

ehh, well, I'm not saying it looks like any ones. I'm just saying that where the rear support bars are, they're in a sort of useless position.

Re: Another Civic Progress Thread

peace guys.. break it up.. There is a big line between realistic "replicas" and just models we create for the fun of it...

I hope no one makes fun of my new project... 360 Modena pick-up low rider with 13 inch daytons and gold pinstrips and murals...

Re: Re: Another Civic Progress Thread

It's cool SLK. I thought he was going for realism when he said something about the car being a racer. So, no big deal, it's cool with me.

SLK, I already think the idea of a 360 truck would be cool, but the bed needs to be in the front.

Looks nice. I like the green on there, and I like the rims too. Keep us posted on how the build goes.

I was going to say something about how street prepared cars in the SCCA require a fully padded seat on the passenger side. But I won't. Are those wheels from the S2000 or are they the Pegasus ones? Very nice project, great work on the interior. This is going to be killer, I hope my full motored one ends up as well as yours no doubt will.
