Here is a ref. pic. of a JDM Type R

Wut up fellas.

Here is my bro's type R. This photo would make a good pict for a line drawing of an R. I would then ref. another picts for reflections and such. As some of you know a white car takes away from the reflection detail.

This car was blast on the Autobahn. It can hold its own in Germany but there is no hope for the little R against that Diablo we saw on the bahn.

My bro let me drive it. It was so fun. I cruised at 125-130 mph. It has a speed limiter from the factory, we know it will go faster. We felt a little like those high speed runs in the Option videos...yah right.

Re: Here is a ref. pic. of a JDM Type R

i might try it if I can get it posted. I have to get drawing again so this might be a good one to do.
PS I am right handed so I can draw cars in that view, but not the opposite view. So that makes this pic even better.

Yeah, me too. I also like how the side skirts line up straight with the front bumper. Right now, I'm almost done with the front end.

Well the car is for sale but it is located in Germany.

I plan on drawing this car, keeping it white, and with the racing harts.
I also plan on drawing a yellow civic R w/ carbon hood. (not the new style civic) yuck.

Nope sorry, but like I said he has the best Mugen bolt-ons.

I am just going to be generous and say he has a 10% gain with his bolt ons and that would put him at 220hp.

I checked in the web and some folks list the jdm R engines at 210 if that where the case he probably makes about 225 at the crank w/ bolt ons. It is a 1996 R so it is the lightest of all type Rs thus making it even faster.

I know there are a lot of factors in performance.
But I do know he smoked a GSR that was turbo charged (I am sure it was low boost stock internals, but still).

I live in South Carolina. My bro is stationed in Germany; unfortunately he is coming back and leaving the R behind. He thought about bringing the car back and buying a 1994 LS teg and swaping all the parts into/on it.

He decided not to do that.

It was a fun car to drive but I would much rather have a v-8, that is just me. Japanese sports cars like Supras and Rx-7s cost too much to me. I try to spend the least amount of money on stuff.
