Gallardo e-gear at MSRP

Just found a black Gallardo with e-gear at MSRP.
I've signing the papers (via fax) right now and it'll be shipped soon.

None of that waiting for 2 years on a list stuff and paying $15,000 to $30,000 over sticker.

Just had to call dealers across the country until I found one available. Easy as pie.

Re: Gallardo e-gear at MSRP

Clarkster, I would be very interested in knowing which specific dealer you got the Gallardo for MSRP. I have a friend who has 2 Gallardo on order, but if he can get it for MSRP..........I would like the total selling price without taxes and what options it had on it . Thanks
Dr J

Re: Gallardo e-gear at MSRP

DrJJ,
I bought it from Lamborghini Atlanta.
However, you should note that, while I'm very happy with the car - I'm not happy with the way they handled things.

THey shipped the car in an OPEN truck. No cover at all for the car. It got to nearly 0 degrees (Farenheit). The just rode here in an open flatbed truck.

It arrived with no gas - empty gas tank (And this especially irritates me given that it was shipped in an open truck with no heat. I don't like the idea of the spending the night in 0 degrees with an empty gas tank.

And it arrived dirty. Dirt on the drivers side floor. dust and grease all over the interior. And, of course, because of the open air ride, dirty on the outside.

Then the truckd driver could not get the car off of the truck without scraping the underside.

ALL in all - I'm not sure I'd buy another car from them.

Also - they told me that they would not sell any more at that price (though it could be just talk)

So much for the great Atlanta Lambo dealership. There is no excuse for not putting some gas in the car for you. I have yet to find a dealership that really is interested in doing the right thing for its customers all the time. They will, selectively, treat some customers better when it is in their interest to do so. Generally though, this is the kind of treatment you see. Now, after this post, will come the new "American Apology Post". They will offer up many reasons why this was a one time "slip thru the cracks" thing. They may even offer to send you a voucher for some gas. If the dealers spend as much time taking care of their customers as they do coming up with all kinds of apoligies and excuses for poor treatment it would be a big improvement. Thanks for tipping us off on this dealership. The bloom is definetly OFF that rose!! Good Luck with your car!

Re: Re: Gallardo e-gear at MSRP

Congratulations Clarkster,

Its a shame that our lambo was not the one you were looking for. I invite everyone to take a look at our shop www.prestige-motors.com. We are all car enthusiasts at the shop and are proud of the organization we run and the products we deliver. Many of our customers are long-term repeat buyers so it really does pay for us to do it right.

Enough of the babbling, does anybody know of club meets or organized drives in the Northeast (Maryland)?

Thanks,

Pete

Re: Re: Gallardo e-gear at MSRP

No, we are not a manufacturer. What we do is sell highline autos and locate vehicles. We are an enthusiasts dealership, which is why many of our customers are repeat buyers.

Re: Gallardo e-gear at MSRP

huh, I was going to recommend taking a look at Koenig-specials.com but I dont think that they make s/c's for lambos... strange, considering that they're famous for italian car modification.

I received a reply from Koenig-specials and they said they are currently working on a sports exaust system for the Gallardo.

"at the moment we are just working on a sports exhaust exhaust system for the Gallardo.
I think we will be able to tell you prices and delivery time beginning of march.

I will inform you asap."

That was quoted from their e-mail to me. If I hear anything, I'll put a post up in the after market section.

Re: Gallardo e-gear at MSRP

Good, I was beginning to worry there. How much do sports exhausts change the engine note on high end sports cars anyhow?
