civc...good idea?

do they make any good parts for the d15 or d16 engines?
my brother is looking to get one as a first car. i think he shouldnt risk getting one with a useless motor and get a 95 prelude.

A prelude is heavier than a civic, so even though technically the engine is 65 hp bigger, that is not 65 hp at the wheels.

A honda with a d-series can be modded to go faster than a stock prelude. Turbo alone will put you in prelude hp range, it all depends on how much work you can and want to do.
