Question noise from the front of the car...

alright well i have a 97 maxima gle and i have this vibrating up front... i get to about 30 mph and it starts get louder from there on.. its coming from the front left.. i was told it was the wheel bearing and i had that replaced but it didnt help any... ill be doing 60 and the vibrating is real loud, turn a little to the left and it stops (gets really quite) but if i turn to the right a little bit it gets even louder... my brother did the brakes on my car and he put abs brake pads on... is there chance that my car isnt abs and those are the wrong pads....sorry im a newb at all this crap... also when i went to go get the wheel bearing fixed they told me that my left front caliper bracket is bent also... could this be the cause? some help.. im going def since i gotta turn te raio up all the way to even hear it...

Hmm.. Maybe alignment? Any pulling left or right?

also, check that your plastic splash guards in the wheel wells are all there and secure. When I first got my maxima, one of them was loose and would do the same vibration/rumbling thing. Turned out it was just flapping in the wind.

its not the alignment, i had the alignment when i got new tires (after the noise started) and my car didnt come with mud flaps... i took the left front brakes off to inspect them and they are still good with plenty off pad left.. i did notice that the rotor has stress cracks.. maybe 5-6 all over.. and the caliper housing has a nice little chunk of metal missing

Not talking about mud flaps, I'm talking about the plastic splash guards that keep gunk from splashing from your tires onto your engine.

Of course, if your rotor is cracking, you may want to look there first. heh.

hmmm you know i did take all that plastic crap down to make it easier to get to the oil drainer... ill look there and see then if not that then ill get new rotors.. maybe a 300z swap
