headlight help please

I put this question out on the GMC Jimmy forum the other week but got no replies - so hoping for better luck here.

On my 97 Jimmy 4x4 how do I adjust the vertical aim of the headlights. When I open the hood I can see a small screw head (torx?) about 5" down through a small hole in the metal plate running across the top at the front of the engine compartment. Does this make the adjustment, or is it something else completely?

Thanks in advance, Giner.

Re: headlight help please

Some of the new models are considerably different than the old style aiming systems. It, in many cases, requires a close study of the mechanism to determine the method. Typically, some method of marking is used to indicate the method and direction, but it also, in some cases, requires a mirror. Good luck Ray
