front end vibration

OK, here's the deal. I recently put lowering springs on my 99 GTP. The tires are balanced and the camber/alignment adjusted. While I'm driving, and I get into the accelerator pretty good, there is a vibration coming from the front end (can't tell which side). It does this about 75% of the time. If I pop the hood and rev it up from the throttle cable, it doesn't vibrate. If I slowly accelerate, or am cruising at speed, it doesn't vibrate. I am very confused and hope someone can help. This just started after I lowered it.

Could have something to do with the struts. I know after you lower your car you kinda get the pogo effect when braking or accelerating quickly. They do sell some aftermarket adjustable struts just for people who have lowered there cars on PFYC.com

There was a few thread about the need for shorter tie rod bolts or end links after installing lowering springs. People complained about the same thing and this was the solution.

Ripn12s, did you lowered your car. I just saw in PFYC.com a bushing kit that I am thinking of buying but I will keep the current hight. Does not boder me and the car really runs well. The question is the bushing kit will change the toe, camber, etc(I do not think so, but never hurts to ask)

My car is at stock height. I did have spring spacer pulling downt the front and pushing up the rear but they have been removed.

I see no need for those bushings.

Well the bushings said that are more elements resistant than the standsard rubber ones. I was thinking more about oil spills and similar stuff that tends to mess rubber. But reading that thread is better to learn to drive the car at the stock height. To many problems just to install lower springs and at the end with all the potholes here I would really mess up the car.

Thanks for the link. I installed the new retainers. BIG dif on pogo. They really work. This vibration is killing me though. I thought it may be the CVJ, but didn't want to fork over the money (denial). I guess after all the modding I have done... and 70K miles... what could a couple hundred $$ more hurt right?
Two more questions: 1) Will the stock CVJ be sufficient after modding? and B) what is the speed limiter on the DHP sold by MSP, ZZ, & others?

Current mods: 3.4" pulley, CAI, R/T 3" downpipe-HF cat, 2.5" catback, low temp plugs & t-stat.
Near future: DHP, headers, IC
