Turbo Kit or put one myself. Which one???

i'm thinking bout gettin a turbo in my car, should i buy the whole kit (i'm currently looking at GReddy, is there a better one?) or should i just build it piece by piece? What ya'll think????

i pieced mine together, ran into many problems and took a lot of custom welding and making pipes fit. i spent about 2g's and i got a lot more then the greddy kit has.

not to dis you or anything but you must have screwed up somewhere. i can piece together a kit for way under what big companies charge for theirs and it would work fine without a lot of fabrication. my friends have done it on their civics and i did it with the supercharger setup on my vw. so it really depends on who and what you know about turbos

hey aznbmx since u got turbo in your car, does the turbo cost you any problems, n' what kind??

I put my kit together including a new clutch, standalone fuel and timing management and beautiful parts for appx $1500 do research to build your own, it's not something anyone should just hand to you (that knowledge) if not, buy a kit. but you'll be happier having built it yourself.
