Lightbulb --> HOT! Carrera GT Pics!

I'm pretty sure the Carrera GT is HOT!!!!!

Here are some astounding photographs of the Porsche Carrera GT. The images were photographed at this years North American International Auto Show, in Detroit, Michigan. Please enjoy these photographs I've taken, and if you wish to view them at a higher resolution (1024 by 768), please feel free to visit: My High Resolution Gallery --> Porsche

Thanks again, and let me know how you like my pictures, Ryan Cash.

PS: I do understand that several may appear to be from almost the same angle, but each photograph is different! Also, let me know your opinion on my photography, as I will be opening my own supercar website in the near future.

Of all your pics from the show, these are the best, especially the ones taken from above.

Re: --> HOT! Carrera GT Pics!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why red and blue, and why on separate sides? How is that a reference to Porsche's racing history?

Not sure if it's a reference on Porsche's racing heritage or in general racing practice in at least some type of motorsport. Left and right side wheel nuts are colored differently as they're screwed on the car clockwise and anti-clockwise (I don't remember which is which). The pit crews have to know which wheels are clockwise and which anti-clockwise (everyone understands why) and so traditionaly they paint them red and blue. Now, would anyone know WHY aren't both sides clockwise or anti-clockwise?

Re: --> HOT! Carrera GT Pics!

I'm guessing that if you screwed one side in clockwise, the general rotation and stress put on a racing tires would cause the bolts to slip due to their orientation. It may not be much, but ina race, a little can become disaster.

btw, that's pure hypothesis

My guess too, I can't think of any other reason...anyway I have the feeling with all the publicity this car is getting we'll find out sooner or later.

Yeah, it's just so the wheels keep a good position on the axle.
