Question 1992 Sentra Classic vs regular Sentra

I want to know if anybody can tell me the differences between the Sentra Classic (92 specifically) and the regular Sentra. It is quite hard to find inforamtion about the Classic, were they sold in all markets?

All I really know is that the Classic uses the same body style as the previous generation (up to 1990), but I would like to know if the engine, suspension, or other parts on the Classic were upgraded from their pre-90's roots to the newer Sentra (91-94) equivelents.

Thank you.

yeah the classic isn't a special model or trim, it's just a nickname for the older se-r.

I think what he's talking about is the Canadian version of the sentra that came out in the early 90's but it had a B12 body style. As far as I know, it retains all the suspension and whatnot from the B12 but I think it might have a Ga16DE instead of an E16i.

Well, there is a special edition sentra that looks almost identicle to the SE-R but has different wheels and the dohc 1.6 liter engine. Suspension is unchanged from the base (I think) and ABS was optional.

No, the classic is a completely different thing. It looks EXACTLY like a B12.

Classic is just a designation for the 91-94 Sentra.

No, you're not listening to me. There are the "Classic" Sentra's(91-94), and there's a Canadian Sentra CALLED the Classic. It's not a nickname. It came out in Canada in 1991 and it looks exactly like a B12 sentra.

Ok, well, being that I'm not from Canada, I'll take your word for it. There is an SE sentra in the US that looks like the SE-R classic though.
