Re: Jet chip for 99???

i have a jet 6-pack chip since '98 in my '93 k2500 7.4L and had so-so results.BUT, come to find that it was wrong one for BANF broadcast. they are replacing at no cost and i will let you all know if an improvement is found.

Re: Jet chip for 99???

symtoms evident that led to 6-pack chip as the culprit were momentary total shutdowns particulary at startup, fewer while cruising, none while accellerating, but total shutdown after warmup and idling in "drive" at a stop.Restart not possible for 20-40 minutes.

Re: Jet chip for 99???

There are shops that program custom chips for your ride. Cost is pretty high but you'll wind up getting what you want. The programmer should be able to tell you what your gains will be before the $$ is spent.
