Supra tt vs Rx7 tt vs S2000 vs 350z vs Vr4 tt

Ok I am trying to find a car that is easy to add mods, race, drive back a forth to work in, and just depend on.. I have about $40,000 to work with.. So which one should I go with. Plus it has to have style....

Re: Supra tt vs Rx7 tt vs S2000 vs 350z vs Vr4 tt

Well...the easy answer would be the Supra...for these reasons...best motor out of the bunch and strongest...easiest to mod and get HP out of...problem is this...it's kind of getting common to have one if you are a tuner type guy...but it's not as bad as say having a Honda or a 5.0 Mustang...so it's still a great choice w/a phenomenal aftermarket to choose from so you can personalize and go nuts on your car...prices have gone down since the TF&TF craze...

S2k is pretty tuned out...it's a great handler...lighter than the Supra, VR4 and 350z...but it's hard to extract more HP...turbo or supercharge it and usually you only get 100hp more...which is nice...but if you want more than that..it's harder...as seen in magazines in the past.

RX7 is a great car...light, nimble, quick car...easy to make go fast...but it's not known for it's reliability so beware...plus it's hard to find ones that arent ragged out

VR4...well it's really heavy and I hear that it's not that reliable either...dont know much but I know someone will chime in saying it's the GOD of all cars(YogsVR4)...ignore him...lol

350z is a great car and has a decent motor but the support from the aftermarket is coming but not too quickly...if you are willing to wait around for more products to come out...and have a new car to boot...well then this is your car...I think the weak point though is the motor...as good as it has been acclaimed...it will not handle much more than 350-400hp w/o reinforcement of the pistons and rods...etc.

I am still under the price of a viper and you won't find a stock one that runs better than 11.7. I would put my Z up for the test. Not only that but I got 10 g's that says you can't find a stock viper gts or rt10 that will beat my Z. Thats right I said $10,000 dollars. Anybody want a piece of the action?

well even if he is a lieing pos i would still choose the rx7... i would choose the supra over the rx7 usually but you can get an rx7 for much cheeper and then you have that much more for mods... i also wouldnt get the s2000 though a very good car, its hard to turbo charge and its a hassle to drive back and forth the work with the high rpm's

well if you want more power down the line. dont' get hte S2K. with intake and exhusat the car gained a whopping 2 hp at the wheels. thats like wipping your ass with hundred dollar bills if you ask me. i would get hte supra. that car is a beast. the engine is bullet proof. and the just loves to spit out more hp from simple bolt ons. a BPU supra can make over 400 hp at the wheels.

i wouldn't say all that but its been very reliable for me, i had one prob and that just happend but at 145,000 miles eventually something is gonna happen. as far as looks and stock speed its a plus, easily upgraded, but no challenge for the supra. the supra has more parts more potential when it comes to big power. and 200lbs lighter than the vr4. so if your talking all out power options then the supra is the way to go, but of course i'd obviously pick the vr4 if it were to come to bpu's cause it looks better imo and the launch is amazing.

from what i know the 350Z and the S2000 reliability isn't bad, i've heard bad things about the rx7 though, but as far as stock speed vr4 and supra, upgrade potential SUPRA

those are the cars listed in his profile

2003 Honda S2000
2000 Honda S2000
1995 Toyota Supra
1996 Porsche 911
1993 Mazda RX-7

so suposedly he should know all that

funny how the 10 sec 350z is not listed....to me it sounds like bs...but i'll give him the benefit of the doubt...maybe he can post some photos..it would be nice to see such an awesome collection

j/p i always wanted to say that. but seriously though. S2K is crap down the road to ultimate hp. the RX-7 usually blows at 50-60K miles if driving hard. and maintained right, i know a few guys who are on atleast their 2nd engine. 350Z is a nice new car but i'd rather get a supra. so supra it is.

uummm......Supra- if you're going all out.

RX7 if you want fucking sweet performance in an elegant shell.

350Z if you want a new GT car

S2000 if you want to go on an Amazon-jungle hunt for Torque

VR4 if you want an over-wieght GT with space-ship technology
