may be $9K-$10K, you won't even find 96 Accord I4 EX for for $6K, unless there is something wrongs with it.

Re: appropriate pricing for 98'accord v6

I just traded in my 98 Accord EX i4 for $6300, granted it did have a 1k dollar stereo system in it. It had two big dents and 102K miles on it. I think it might be difficult to get what you want in that price range. Also the V6 models in that year have a problem with their transmission so be careful buying a used v6 for that year.

You can forget about getting a 98 for that price. Only if there are problems with it. But who wan't to inherit problems. I just got my 99 Ex a couple months ago for 11 grand. and by the way its not even the V6 model. And believe me I still got a decent price. U might wanna try a 5th Generation Accord.

Re: appropriate pricing for 98'accord v6

the average price for it is around 7-9,000 dollars around my area (626). so yu say 98' has some tranny problems? so 99' is more suitable? well i was thinking 6,000 because some people are having asking prices of 7000. there may be problems but ive never checked on it myself.

It might take a while but one will come along. Sometimes people just need some cash.
