Who wants to buy a '98 240sx?
For anyone who is interested in buying a 1998 240sx SE AT. It has aprroximately 59,000 miles on it. It comes with 18" Konig Appeal Rims. Ill probly throw in a set of snow tires. The car has barely seen much snow. I have had the car for almost 2 years with the intent to do an SR20DET swap. However, I have run into many obsticles along the way and am no longer able to hold onto the car much longer. I only got to put on a Hotshot Header, test pipe, and an Apexi dual N1 catback exhaust (yeah...shows how busy i was). The overall condition of the car is decent. I actually got it off of ebay as a salvage titled car. It was hit on the driver's side and the airbags were deployed. I had it taken to a buddy of mine who is a mechanic and he checked it out and he said everything was redone very well. The intent for this car was for street and strip use. The body has some dings in it, and the front bumper paint is chipping. I will include a free bumper along with the car. So, if any questions, feel free to ask. Im located in Cleveland, OH.

Re: Who wants to buy a '98 240sx?
yeah i know. but i gotta start from somewhere. it IS negotiable, so...
plus i only put about 30,000 miles on it in 2 years. thats being an everyday driver. but yeah the salvage title is something that sucks. but like i said, it was done up very nicely and its a good car to do up a little bit for street or track. |

The 240SX AT is a hard sell these days so it seems. In a big city with losts of stop and go traffic you will find em. I've drive stds. most of my life and love a stick. Shifting is automatic (little pun there) so in Houston it is a breeze no matter what type of traffic I'm in. The 5 spd. 97-98 models are my favorite as there is no difference what so ever in each of these 2 years. They, Nissan just continued with the 97 until the very end. These cars were a high as 33k in Canada back in 97. Long live the 240SX. Mike 97 240SX

Re: Who wants to buy a '98 240sx?
yeah, i actually wanted to do a manual conversion but i figured if i turbo'd the car, it would work better as an automatic in the stop and go traffic and i would have less lag time for the turbo to spool since i wouldnt have to depress the clutch. then i realized that i just need money and ill have to save up for a car that works well in the winter conditions in Ohio like an AWD car.

I paid $7500 for my 240sx. It had 45K miles on it. Sold it for 9K with 68K miles on it... The only mods I had was a Hotshot Header, test pipe, and an Apexi dual N1 catback exhaust (same as you) but I had a lightweight flywheel and ACT clutch and a spal fan. I had volk wheels on it but took them off when I sold it because the guy wanted the stock ones so he could rice it out with some 18"s... |
