i dont get it
the other day my cat started rattling pretty bad, sounded like it was something on the inside.
then it got worse until today the car just died when i was on the highway...from the looks of what i got out of the tailpipe it looks like the inside of the cat fell apart or something cuz there are pieces of "stuff" stuck in there...so now my cat is effed up and my muffler and stuff is all clogged up. they are both from magnaflow and i wasnt sure if anyone has ran into this before or if what i think happend actually did happen, ive never thought this was possible on an aftermarket cat....i havnt even had it for more than a month maybe so it just doesnt make sense, maybe its just a shitty cat converter or something...... i kinda wish i could take it off and run a straight pipe but the O2 sensor would make the engine light come on...is there a way to bypass that and keep the light off? thanx for the help |

Re: i dont get it
On most cars the light will stop coming on after a few months. If you have a dataloger you can just clear it every couple days until it starts to ignore the missing cat.
