98 2500 Keyless Reprograming
Hi Everyone,
I have searched through the Forums and Have found very little information on Reprogramming an AfterMarket Keyless Remote (LoJack). The Key Pod is Black in color and has a larger round button used for unlocking and setting the Alarm. It also has a smaller button (football Shapped) Used to set Valet Mode and turn the Chirp mode on and Off. and a smaller lens that blinks Red when in use. FCC ID # on the back of the Pod is : J5523518T1. This was installed in 1998 on a 2500 Ram Pickup. The battery went dead as this is an xtra key set and hardly used. When I replaced the Battery it will not function But the little RED light does blink. Is there a way to reprogram this Pod? Or should I take it in to a dealer and have them do it? Thank You in Advance for any Help. Rodney |

Re: 98 2500 Keyless Reprograming
Most aftermarket keyless entry manufacturers have downloadable instruction manuals on their websites, If you can remember the manufacturer's name, try looking it up on google or something

Re: 98 2500 Keyless Reprograming
Did you ever find out how to program the remote?
I have the same system in a 99 camry and am looking for instructions on programming the remote. I think the manufacturer is Black Widow from what I´ve found from the net but not sure. |
