I have a 2003 WRX STI and is requiring a recommendation on a dump pipe for this model STI. I only want to replace the short pipe from the turbo with a new pipe including a splitter and removal of one of the cats. I still will Leave the muffler stock. I have been advised to have the airintake come from the right guard to allow more air flow: does this make much difference..?
I also would like a boost controller (apexi) has come highly recommened, unless someone recommends an alternative.
The 2003 STI's are watercooled, so would you recommend a turbo timer still or its no necessary.
