Accord not driven in 3 months

I have a 92 Accord EX and it's been sitting for 3 months...I did go out once in a while and start the car up. But today I tried moving and it seemed like alot of things went wrong while sitting. The brakes arent as good as they were before, and it idles weird now.
So what all do you think I need to do before I put it back on the road?

I left my accord sitting for 7 months while I was in iraq, and when I came back the brakes had completely locked up. Rust is a bitch. Might have rusted a bit on your car. I also had to change the oil and had my fuel system cleaned with some fuel addative cleaner. Helped a lot.

Get some seafoam and put 1/3 can (assuming you have a full tank btw) into your gas tank. Put another 1/3 can into your crankcase. Idle it for 10-20 minutes. Change your oil now.

If you want you can also run the last 1/3 can slowly into your brake booster line from the manifold while its idling. After the can is gone shut the car off for 15-30 minutes. Turn it back on and drive it. Don't mind all the smoke out your exhaust.

After that you should really think about changing all the other fluids, coolent and brake would be next. Then I'd think about your steering fluid.

Ben, your service is most appreciated! Nothing but respect from me.

When I said that I ment you'll need to adjust accordingly.
If you have 1/2 tank, put in 1/6 of a bottle.

It could smoke from 30 seconds to 10 minutes depending on the carbon buildup over the years.

Just put it in your oil filler thingy on the top of your engine, where you normally would put your oil.

Re: Accord not driven in 3 months

Ok, so I decided to go out and start my car to get it running again. Still having alittle problem with the stopping. I went and put new tires on and noticed alot of rust. Is there anyway I can get rid of this rust myself, spry...etc. or should I just wear it down by just driving around the appartment duplex ???
