Anyone own a 318 TDS

If anyone owns a BMW 318 TDS SE can you tell me the fuel consumption, ie how much it costs to fill up the tank, and how many miles it will then drive on that tank. Thanks.

Re: Anyone own a 318 TDS

Mines a 325 (6 cylinder), but with careful driving, I average 45mpg (UK gall = 4.55lt). I think all E36s have a 65 ltr tank.
I think that the 318 is a bit better on the fuel than the 325, but does need to be revved more.
I have seen 700 miles per tankful.
