Re: 100,000 miles

its a honda , 100,000 miles aint gonna hurt it much at all . you may have to do some very minor things , but test drive it an check it out thoroughly first. You dont want to get a POS that looks nice

Re: 100,000 miles

Ask them for compression numbers, and what service records it has. Check that the timing belt and water pump have been replaced.

That's general stuff. I'm not sure about specifics on a 2nd Gen.

Re: 100,000 miles

Also ask if the oil was changed every 3000 or so and check the vin to see if it was in any major accidents that could affect the chassis. Also check oil pressure, this is definitly an important thing on an old car. And dont worry about stalling the thing..who cares wut the dealer thinks.

Re: 100,000 miles

b series motors are made for high miles. ask any mechanic. even at 200,000 there is so little damage that rebuildin would be unnecessary

well 111000 isn't alot on an integra, i have 160,000 on my 93 gs-r and it runs fine, i had to replace the water pump about 6000 miles ago but thats it. 4950 for a rs???? this seems really high? maybe cuz its low mileage for a 93? mine at 140,000 was worth 4600 and thats a gs-r, luckily i got it for 2400 haha. anyway give it a drive and check her out.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there was a 2nd gen GSR. In fact it is one of the most sought after engines of extreme NA Honda builders. It's a B17. And using that crank in a B20 block with a B16 head yields one of the best race engines you can create ouf ot Honda part. So uh, KNOW YOUR SHIT BITCH!!! Hahahahahahahaha....
