My moms 95' Oldsmobile Eighty Eight revs at like 5k rpms for like 10 minutes when she first starts it up... Sometimes while driving she'll take her foot off the gas and it'll rev up again... My first thought was maybe the transmission... But when its parked in neutral the transmissions not engaged so... Iono have any of you experienced similar problems on your cars?? Just need some ideas... Thanx...

It's a throttle related problem, check the linkage, it could be sticky.
