C5-R help

Im doing the 2001 C5-R and I am beggining to wonder how to paint the back of the car. Should I paint the back black first or paint yellow then black? Also if anybody has any references that would be great!

Re: C5-R help

I painted all of mine yellow first. Then after that was throughly dry I masked off the body and sprayed the black rears.

A good place for race photos is here:

Here are about 200 pics of the C5-R, some are from the build up of the real car. C5-R

Thanks to David Palmeter for a lot of the pics.

Wow! some of those I've never seen. I've scoured the web for reference photos while building the 4 I've completed.

Now that i've seen the engine pulled, I realize that I routed my plug wires incorrectly. Time to pick up a new kit and get it right this time. I have 3 more versions of this car planned.

I hope Revell will do the C6-R after it comes out next year.
