Cool Light behind gas meter burnt out

The light behind my gas meter burnt out a few days ago so only the rpm meter and half of the speed gauge is lit up at night, does anyone know if you can replace the light ? I found a automotive acura book that says you have to replace the cluster, which means i have to replace all 3 guages and the light comes as part of it ( I assume ) I am wondering if this is true and if it is how I would go about doing it and where to getthe part, I'm not really sure even about the name of the unit. Also, isn't the mileage meter a part of that ? This little light is sounding like a giant headache.

Cool

So it is possible to replace the light behind the guage ? Do you have to just take off the front plastice thing and then take out the stuff behind it to get to it ? Or do you have to take apart the whole dashboard ? Should I be able to find a bulb that will fit there at a local store or is it a special order part. Thanks again for all you guys help

Re: Light behind gas meter burnt out

You just need to take out the gauge trim (~2 screws and ~4 clips) and the gauge cluser (~4 screws and a few wire harnesses). If you do a Google search for "Indiglo Gauge Install", the hits will have info on how to remove the gauge cluster.
