My 96 Cut Supreme takes off slow..help?

It started this morning...it was taking off extremely slow, the motor was shaking and making a rattling noise.I haven't been able to take it anywhere yet....could it be the transmission? what else could it be?

Could be a fuel injector gone bad. I had a similar problem and that was the answer.

Re: My 96 Cut Supreme takes off slow..help?

There is a possibility that it could be sensor that is located right on the transmission (on side prolly). However, I can't recall what it is called...lol....typical. Its possible that the sensor is bad.

Re: Re: My 96 Cut Supreme takes off slow..help?

There's a good chance it has something to do with your fuel pump... maybe as simple as a filter... but more likely the pump needs to be replaced.

What you're saying sounds almost identical to what happened to friend with a '96 Supreme... He took it to a mechanic (after it "died") and they replaced the fuel pump. Sure enough, the car is now stronger than ever.
