Question Excel wheels from WheelMax....good? bad? stories?

I've never bought any rims from wheelmax or by Excel. Are they any good? I don't want any rims that will bent or break easily.

Not sure if the wheels are any good, but i phoned them one night to enquire about a set of excel wheels. The guy was a bit of an ass on the phone.

Re: Excel wheels from WheelMax....good? bad? stories?

wheelmax often carries "B" rated rims, meaning that they are not up to par with the manufacturer specs. hence the low price. i too have ordered a set of rims from wheelmax, they told me that they were in stock and were gonna be shipped out asap. so i gave them my cc#and address. i waited and waited. i called them many times to speak with my salesman, but i got a bunch of excuses. and eventually i found out that my salesman no longer worked there. so i was told that the rims are on backorder (eventhough i was told that they were in stock) and that they would be in that same week. well another 2 1/2 weeks passed and still no rims. so i gave up and requested a refund. got a refund a week after i asked for one. all in all, pretty bad experience as you can see. hope this helps.

wheelmax sometimes has problems, sometimes don't.It is funny cuz my friend bought some wheels from them and they came okay. There was only one problem that they came one day later then they told us that it's ganna arrive.I guess that is okay cuz every other mail order company's will take about 3 to 4 weeks for their merchadise to arrive.About a mounth later i found wheel that i really wanted it for my car(exel speed)...to be ounest with ya i was sceard to get in to it but i did it.i ordered my wheels on friday and they came on next thuresday.my problem was that about a mounth after my girlfriend took my car to go out.She came back with to my wheels bend.i called wheel max and replaced my wheels with the roadhazerd warranty that i had bought with no problem.I just had to shipp my wheels back. That was the suck part about it that i had to pay $15.00 for shipping.Any how i got my wheels about week and 1/2 later in brand knew box's.i have to admit that i was the happiest person alive....hahahaha...personaly i think they are pretty good company and i recommend them to anybody...........
