one word answer: yes!

detailed answer: these cars are fast. they are small and have decent sized engines which adds up to a nice combination. my 95 SC2 stick shift is a joy to drive and rev hard, i love the size and look of the car. my only gripe is how close the gears are to each other. 1st is like 0-7 2nd is like 8-14 3rd is like 15-20 4th is like 21-34 and 5th is 35 on. once youre in 3rd and rev it hard it growls nicely. very nicely. you can do anything you want to these cars, mine is stock and i plan on getting a short ram intake and a flowmaster in the near future. also these cars are great on gas. i can go a week and a half of regular driving without filling up. great little cars, especially for 1500!

my opinion: get it if you can fit inside and dont need alot of space to hold people and cargo. oh and if you want a great ride smooth shifting and fun thatll last for years.

note that this car is not for everyone, i am not saying it is.. my dad loves the car just hates the lack of space. however i think it is a great car, after driving a mini-van, an 87 taurus, and a 93 topaz, and am gonna try to keep one around at all times wherever i end up in teh future. i cant WAIT for my sunroof to get fixed for the summer for the beach! this is definately a daily driver AND a fun in the sun/snow/wherever car!

but like i said, not for everyone!!

Re: 93 SC2 worth buying?

well it all depends on your definition of fast. for me its a slow winter beater. and as far as fun that lasts for years i wouldnt say that. i have had many problems with mine. buts thats just my opinion
