Help Me Out!!!!!
I need some help! As some of you know, I just finished my D16Z6 swap into my CRX. My car is blowing some white smoke out of it...or it could be steam....I don't know. When I start the car, its fine for about 20 seconds and it wont blow anything out. Then it starts to put out some white smoke. I do want to mention that it is about 35 degrees in my garage. I let the car run for about 15 minutes, but it still blows the white smoke out. It's not bellowing it out but it IS putting some out. What could this be? The engine only has 81,000 miles on it...

Re: Help Me Out!!!!!
Yeah its the headgasket, again for people. Did you change it before you put the engine in. THats a common thing to do. You can easily get to the engine, and its not hard to replace. Oh well! Good luck

Re: Help Me Out!!!!!
Have you actually driven the car yet. How has your coolant level been. It is very cold in your garage so it could be the normal winter exhaust steam coming out. Does it smell sweet. What was the condition of the motor when you bought it. Was it running fine. You can also check for oil in your coolant or I believe pulling you plugs to see if they are wet can help you diagnose also. I would check All that stuff then go drive it and make sure.
