Spark Plugs
Speaking of spark plugs, does anyone have any recomendations as far as what would be a better plug to run in these trucks in order to get more power?

I am currently running ngk tr55ix plugs and jba wires. They work great in my opinion. Also, the stock ac delco are good plugs.

iv heard champion is a great plug for these trucks, i dont know though iv only had ac delco's and they are fine enough for me.

Years ago, I sold auto parts. I sold a lot of spark plugs of different manufacturers.Many customers who owned GM vehicles that had stock AC Delco plugs in them that switched to Bosch had drivability problems that disappeared when they went back to the AC Delcos. I've always recommended the use of AC Delcos in GM vehicles. GM spends millions of dollars for research into these products and they work best in the engine they were designed for.

Install Ac Delcos spark plugs.Do not put Champion spark plugs in,I have heard Chevys do not start with champions installed.I have heard of that happening once and started after installing Ac Delcos.There is a spark plug philosophy: Ac Delco-GM vehicles
Champion-Ford and Chrysler products Autolite-Ford NGK-Asian vehicles Bosch-European vehicles

spark plugs
I used ac delco for many years and they worked fine, but In my '94 blazer 5.7 they just didn't hold up. I switched to autolite and after a year they still look new and I get great fuel mileage with them.

Splitfires with MSD Heli Core wires. Definately noticeable, but I think that was due to the condition of the old plugs and wires, and cap...and rotor...

I have a 98 GMC Z-71. when i did a tune up i put MSD super conducter 8.5 wires and champion truck plugs, big mistake i had a very rough idle. I recently changed my plugs to NGK platinums and the idle was smooth again. I vote NGK.
